Overview

CryFolio is a portfolio tracking tool within the BitMidpoint ecosystem. We take your privacy seriously and collect only what is strictly necessary to operate the service.

Data We Collect

Account data — When you sign in via GitHub or Google, we store your display name, email (if provided), and avatar URL. We do not store passwords.
Transaction data — The trades you enter are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and, if you are signed in, synced to our database so they persist across devices.
Usage data — Basic server logs (IP address, timestamps) for operational purposes. No third-party analytics or tracking scripts are used.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not track your browsing behavior outside this application.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
We do not use cookies for advertising.

Third-Party Services

CryFolio fetches cryptocurrency prices from public APIs (CoinGecko, CryptoCompare, Binance). These requests are made from our server, not your browser, so your IP is not exposed to these services.

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You can delete all your transaction data at any time using the "Clear All Data" option in the app menu. If you wish to delete your account entirely, contact us.

Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit. Authentication tokens are stored securely and expire automatically. We follow industry best practices for server security.
