Overview

CF Watchlist is a portfolio tracking tool within the BitMidpoint ecosystem. We collect the data needed to operate the service and explain it below.

Data We Collect

Account data — When you sign in via GitHub or Google, we store your display name, email (if provided), and avatar URL. We do not store passwords.
Transaction data — The trades you enter are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and, if you are signed in, synced to our database so they persist across devices.
Usage data — We keep basic server logs such as IP addresses and timestamps for security and operations. Our pages also load Google Analytics and Acceptrics scripts. These services may receive browser and device information when a page loads; analytics storage is denied by default and managed through the consent tool.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not track your browsing behavior outside this application.
We do not sell your portfolio or transaction data.
We do not use cookies for advertising.

Third-Party Services

CF Watchlist fetches cryptocurrency prices from public APIs through our server. Our pages use Google Analytics for usage measurement and Acceptrics for consent management; those providers process browser information under their own privacy terms.

Data Retention

Your account and synced data are retained while your account exists. You can remove transactions with "Clear All Data" in the app. To request deletion of your account and associated data, visit Delete account.

Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit. Authentication tokens are stored securely and expire automatically. We follow industry best practices for server security.
